Important Information for Columbus On-location Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists: All REFeyeANCE artists are licensed and experienced in the area of specialty you desire! • For most Saturday events, we require a minimum of six applications to receive one artist. We can sometimes accommodate smaller bridal parties for an increased rate. If you book with each artist doing six or more services and then decrease your count later, your rates could increase based on the minimum.

• All adult makeup includes lashes and an airbrushed foundation.

• Lashes and airbrushing are not included in child and junior bridesmaid makeup.

• All hair must be clean and dry. We provide dry styling only.

• An additional fee applies for hair that reaches the waist or longer. 

• Would you like your makeup artist to stay with you for touch-ups and to change your makeup or hair for the reception? The cost is $100 an hour.

• No travel fees to have your makeup artist or hairstylist travel to you within 30 minutes of downtown Columbus. 

• We charge a $100 a.m. fee per makeup artist and hair stylist for all schedules that start before 7 a.m. A $200 a.m. fee per artist is charged if you need your artist to arrive before 6:30 AM.

• There is an additional fee when asking the artist to switch locations (additional travel fees may apply).

• Columbus makeup artists and hair stylists do not charge a travel fee if you are 30 miles from downtown Columbus.

• Each person needs to arrive at their appointment with dry hair. We charge an extra $20 to dry wet hair, and time would also need to be added to the schedule for this service. 

• We charge a $20 late fee if you or a bridal party member shows up 20 minutes (or more) late to an appointment. 

• The bride is responsible for parking. Makeup artists and hair stylists valet park at hotels for safety purposes and ease of loading and unloading for all hotels in Columbus. Valet service will be charged to your room. 

• Canceling reservations with less than a three-month written notice will result in a 30% fee for the entire wedding day. (based on the latest counts you have submitted)

• Pricing does not include gratuity. The industry average tip for wedding hair and makeup is 15-20%. A 20% gratuity is added to all non-cash payments.

• Hair and makeup trials are to be booked for the same day. 

• If you or anyone in your bridal party has naturally curly/textured hair and does not want to use natural curls, please arrive with hair relaxed/blown out.

• The $75 reservation fee is due upfront and is not deducted from the wedding total. This fee is 100% refundable if you need to cancel for any reason as long as you cancel at least 90 days before your wedding. 

• The Ohio Revised Code Section 5739.01(B)(3)(q) defines “personal care service” as a transaction that includes the application of cosmetics. This means that sales tax must be charged when providing makeup artist services for Columbus weddings. Hairstyling does not fall within the sales tax code.

• Rates can increase on holidays.
